Kid has the right head on his shoulders to become really good. I'm hoping the pre-draft talk about him having an insane work ethic and the extended offseason combine for a big growth spurt instead of a sophomore slump.

Hawks have assets. Atlanta is a great city has one of the highest Nigerian populations as well. He’s cool with Bogie. At the All-Star game he and Trae were friendly. Giannis was at Trae’s Pro Day before he came to the league. Trae is a perfect fit for Giannis.
Hawks make the playoffs and Trae has a monster year, perhaps they meet the Bucks and give them a series, Bucks flame out again in the ECSF or ECF. This all becomes interesting.

Frank is a good rotation player if in the right personnel which the Knicks aren't for him at this time. You put him in Dallas and he would be a nice player to have.
I don't know if there is a perfect fit for R.J. but Cade is a good fit from the stance that he can run an offense, is unselfish, can space for the floor, and has high BBIQ. R.J. will honestly have to improve his shot to make himself more open to the fit around others regardless of who it is.

To get Paul George as he was pushing 30; the Clippers gave up SGA, Younger Gallo on a cheaper contract and five first round picks (three picks straight up and two pick swaps). Giannis'll be 26 and he's already won 2 MVP awards. So the Hawks would have to come up with a crazy offer to make this even somewhat realistic.
The Hawks would also need to match salaries since they have no cap space. That means the Bucks can't really go rebuild after a deal with Atlanta, the cap would already be soaked up. They're also sitting on Middleton's 35 million plus for the next three years and just added Jrue Holiday specifically to try and keep Giannis.
The Bucks are not gonna do the Hawks a favor when they don't have to. There would be other suitors if Giannis demanded a trade, probably with better offers.
And just to be clear here, I'm not discounting that the Hawks can create a package for a star. But they're not in a position to grab a Giannis level absolute peak superstar in his prime without a massive amount of stars aligning. I'd be more concerned about whatever Ainge is planning with that 28 million dollar TPE he just got.

The Bucks wouldn't be doing the Hawks a favor. The Hawks would have one of the very best offers on the table for them. Pretty much any squad that trades for Giannis is going to need stars to align that's kinda how it is when you trade for these star players wild S&T's, third teams, cap loop holes shyt happens all the time.
Anyway this is a pointless convo. Whether Giannis to Atlanta even becomes a thought doesn't matter. I'm saying from my vantage they're cooking something up so watch out. The Hawks are set up for playoff berths and are set up to have considerable roster flexibility in coming years. The Hawks have done well for themselves we all know this.
