What is she expected to do that she is not doing?

IMO, she has moved the needle in advocacy and continue to raise awareness for the topic of redress to a larger audience. That audience is then influenced politically and socially to address redress in their communities and with their representatives.

That is her purpose. That's what I thought it was.
She focuses more on politics than everyone else who doesn’t understand how to pass laws. What throws me is conflating ADOS as an organization and not an identity.

Y'all are against the ideology wholesale for reasons that aren't even based in reality :pachaha: We already covered the fact that there are Pan Africanist orgs that apply specificity for reparations.

Name one Pan Africanist you'd feel comfortable seeing in a leadership position.

I'm comfortable with any if they adhere to the specificity of the justice claim here. I doubt Yvette would have a problem either if that was the case with the Pan Africanists involved with reparations here.

Does NCOBRA adhere? If not, how is what they're describing any different from what ADOS calls a "Black Agenda"?

My point is he's not from the ground up.He's top down.

His audience was from major tv and when he lost his position(s), he took that with him.

It's not the same as Umar.

Come on now.
This is wrong.

Roland was doing black media like Tom Joyner etc WAY before CNN came.

I've known about Roland for YEARS before CNN.

Guys like you are late.

Not in my opinion. The black agenda is in addition to reparations. If they say that reparations and whatever that entails is for only ADOS then I have no problem with that. I've read their explanation and it's vague. It needs to be clear in order to be passed into legislation because once it becomes diluted the purpose is defeated similar to affirmative action.

You're wrong.

When he was with a major network, he said Black independent media was irrelevant.

Then he lost his jobs and had no choice to become independent like them.

The only difference is the real independent have never had backing from a major network or political party.

And you knowing Roland for years is also irrelevant. The point is he was given a job, not a grassroots independent.

Come on now.

This is untrue.

He was working at CNN at the same time as he was at TV One.

He was using content CNN wouldn't take and taking it to TV One all the time and he was completely independent.

This is like saying Robert Smith or Bob Johnson isn't self made. Are you fukking stupid?
