When will the PG era WWE get this through their collective thick heads?

To be fair though, some of these guys might not even be interesting as themselves but I guess what I mean is find writers who can carry the strengths of the wrestlers personalities

I think the WWF did a fantastic job packaging Bret Hart as a personality for instance when he may have not had one at all. Pairing him with Neidhart who was more animated and he had a background with and then putting the shades on him and making it seems like he is a stoic cool Canadian hockey hero type cat and then into a righteously indignant pro-Canadian cat who I think did so much to usher the attitude era by putting Austin, Michaels over (and protecting Rock backstage tbh)

Agree. Believe most performers should work more closely with the writers.

Yes, IMO if the WWE took the "Bret Hart Approach" to more of their current stars, the mid-card and product overall would look so much better.
