Gang violence...
You guys have much more faith in juries than I do. If you are not smart enough to get out of jury duty then I doubt you are going to be smart enough to disregard the character assassination that Zimmerman's lawyers plan to utilize as his defense.

i personally know a scientist who was a jury foreman for a murder trial involving a defendent who claimed to be sleep walking when he murdered his wife. he wasnt trying to get out of it, he probably saw it as his civic duty, and he was clearly a high IQ individual.

Did Trayvon Martin have a criminal background or even been arrested? Because if he didn't, then this is going to backfire against Zimmerman. Who himself have a criminal background.

WTF are his lawyers thinking???:mindblown: The prosecution is going to eat him alive if his lawyers try to pull this if Trayvon doesn't have a criminal background or been arrested. Only thing they got is Trayvon being suspended from school for weed.

Honestly, i think Zimmerman is a piece of shyt, but this is a pretty good tactic. Like it or not, they are going to use his past behavior to corroborate Zimmerman's story that he initiated the physical attack when led to him "standing his ground" or "self defense" or whatever he's calling it now...

Data from the 17-year-old's cell phone was released Thursday by lawyers for George Zimmerman, whose second-degree murder trial for killing Martin begins next month.

The texts and photos paint a troubling portrait of Martin's home and school life in the months before his death.

In one exchange, a friend texts that Martin is turning into "a hoodlum."

"Naw, I'm a gangsta," his reply read.

In another, he refers to a fistfight with another boy who "snitched" on him.

"I lost da 1st round but won da 2nd and 3rd," he writes, according to transcripts posted on the defense team's website.

"Im not done with fool…he gone hav 2 see me again.

No, that is a dumb move, because Zimmerman have a criminal record himself. While Trayvon never been arrested. It would be a smart move if Zimmerman didn't have a criminal record. All this is going to do, is allow the prosecution to dig in Zimmerman criminal history and put his ex-girl friend on the stand to talk about the day Zimmerman beat on her, that led to her calling the police on Zimmerman.

This shyttt is going to backfire so bad. WTF are his lawyers thinking.

I disagree. I'm not sure what the prosecutors plan of action was for Zimmerman's past run ins with the law, but if the defense wants to establish a pattern of behavior with Martin, I certainly do not think it is a good look on him. And if they can put his wife on the stand, the defense could actually do the same with those who knew of Martin's behavioral problems.

That "i'm a gangsta" quote is pretty inflammatory.

All in all...I see him walking on this one.

:childplease: You can believe that shytt if you want.

Stand your ground went out the door, when Zimmerman didn't follow the advice of the police operator. Even Jeb Bush said that. And his lawyers said they are not going to argue Stand Your Ground in court. I guess you haven't been paying attention.

This is an easy case for the DA in my opinion.

Zimmerman was even arreassted for resisting arrest.

So, you telling me this weak argument on Trayvon is stronger than the DA getting character witness of Zimmerman criminal history like the police he tried to fight?:wtf:

I've followed the case from day one. They are simply going to go by the facts as they know them.

I think the prosecution is swimming against the current in this case; the more evidence they release to the public, the more this doesn't look in favor of Martin.

it already appears as if they are trying to establish a pattern that he was " violently troubled teen" and therefore the aggressor. With that being said, the autopsy and medical reports just may corroborate his story in addition to witness testimony. Hey I don't like it :yeshrug: but that's the road I see this going down.

So, Zimmerman being arrested for getting into a fight with a police officer or beating up his girlfriend doesn't show that he could have been an aggressor?:wtf:

I think he's gonna get voluntary manslaughter.

They gonna say he used the gun in self defense but still created the situation, he will prolly get around 8 years and then the civil suits will come after
