Nah, bruh. These kids just want to go to Hollywood or NYC. Its nothing more to it. Especially Zion who is just a 20 yo kid. He's no different than college kids wanting to go to college in a big city. If players can be happy in Atlanta, Oakland, Milwaukee, Dallas or Houston, then how is New Orleans not good enough? Its a poppin city.

Atl best city in the world. Don’t try us comparing to New Orleans

Stern set the precedent for gifting the Cavs the No 1 pick in 2011, 2013 and 2014 for them losing Bron to the Heat.
It's a pretty crazy conspiracy to claim the NBA would force its best draft picks to one of its worst markets. The NBA is a business above everything and that's a pretty anti-business move.

This is a good example. Back then I bet Chris Webber was thinking Golden State was an absolute sh*thole backwater team. Now it’s one of the most highly valued sports franchises and a destination spot. Zion could do that for New Orleans. Him, Zo and Ingram are just a “Chris Paul and a few veterans” away from a deep playoff run. New Orleans has the French Quarter, Bourbon St., clubs, restaurants, bars. History, culture, scenery, museums. WTF wouldn’t want to play there? Acting like it’s an ass city to be at when black people, tourists and college kids go there every year specifically to get fukked up :dahell:
The irony of Webber ending up in Sacramento just four years later, when Sacramento's best quality as a city is that you can drive the fukk out of it and be in the Bay within an hour. :skip:

Yea this is going too far. This is the slippery slope owners were afraid of. No 2nd or 3rd year player should be forcing their way off the team. That's just ridiculous. What's the point of the draft if a team.isnt gonna have a reasonable time (5-6 years) to build a core.
Shut the fukk up dummy

I ain't mad at it, Players aren't trying to waste years of their careers. All the Pelicans have to do is put better pieces around him but they did the exact opposite by doing stuff like getting rid of Jrue and getting Steven Adams

Why get a Center who can't shoot when you have Zion and Hayes already?

It’s to early in his career to be doing this.

Like someone else said he sees Luka, Trae Young, and Ja Morant cooking in the playoffs and he wants a taste of that.

We do have an incompetent front office, but I can tell a lot of these guys aren’t accustomed to dealing with any type of adversity or failure. There default is to automatically try to run to another situation. He has some talent around him and there is room for us to get some more pieces soon. Play out your rookie deal before you start doing this.

In 2-3 years if the team has not improved enough to get to the playoffs and make a respectable run then you have some decisions to make, but right now this isn’t it, although I do understand some of his frustration as a fan of this team and organization.
