If there was a cap on how much money people could have, it would remove the incentive to push for unlimited growth with companies.

Rather than have 1 company providing a service and streamlining it to cut the number of employees, you'd have several companies competing with on another to provide a better service and drive innovation.

The mistake people make is thinking billionaires are some unique minds who deserve to be where they are and not realising that their existence is smothering the potential of greater minds.
