Find a WFH gig and do remote schooling. It’s tuff but if you’re serious about it, do it until they’re eligible to be vaccinated.

This. Aint no way I would send a child out in this mess. The parents deserve as much blame as the teachers do.

You trust the literal life of your child in the hands of ppl during a deadly pandemic when you KNOW how folks is cutting up out here?

my nieces and nephew are doing virtual school

Rip to this young princess, my condolences to her family such horrible news.
Same my oldest is enrolled in a online only school through the state and Me and my husband are getting materials and supplies together to prepare my baby boy for kindergarten when he goes in a couple years versus putting him in school now and getting sick in preschool

Parents of healthy ten-year-old who died from COVID-19 after 'teacher gave her job of escorting sick pupils to school nurse' blame her death on parents not keeping their ill kids at home
  • Teresa Sperry died just five days after she first began experiencing symptoms of COVID
  • Her family didn't learn she tested positive for the coronavirus until two days after her death
  • Teresa's parents say that they followed all safety measures to protect their daughter but later learned that her teacher had given her a 'classroom job' of walking with sick children to go to the nurse's office
  • A spokesperson for the school district said that if what the Sperry family alleges is true, it would be a violation of school policy
