With this one show, we had the beginning of the golden era of TV, the birth of the premium drama (no offense to OZ ), the anti-hero/villain as the protagonist on TV, and one of the GOAT Television shows of all time

It's amazing how this show is still getting attention in the media after all these years, and deservedly so. It revolutionized television.

Was sick for one summer in 2000 and my bro got me season 1 on vhs, shyt was incredible.

Season 2 was dvds and the step up in screen quality was eclipsed by the writing quality. Have been obsessed ever since.

Gonna go back and rewatch this starting tonight. What a show. I still crack up at the intervention and the pine barrens . I still get goosebumps and think of that final scene every time I hear journey on the radio . Every time a white Escalade passes me on the road I almost expect to see Gandolfini at the wheel. Doesn’t even need the jersey plate

Still holds up and will until the end of time. Top 3 show and arguably the GOAT. The writing and acting was stellar, the dark humor was hysterical and deaths of certain characters are still heartbreaking.
