Im also not liking how they were like, 'we had to supercharge it, we couldnt get the power out of it we wanted'.... like the Viper doesn't exist

I liked the raw, focused, lightweight ethos of the C5 and C6 Z06s.... I like this car too, just not as a Z06.

The Viper is using a 8.4L V10. GM doesn't have that option. Making power naturally aspirated either calls for lots of revs(see Ferrari 458 or F12) or tons of displacement(Viper). GM doesn't really have anything that fits those descriptions and still passes future emissions tests.

I see your point, it really is more a ZR1 than Z06 but once you hit the track, I really don't think its going to matter.

But I looked at the Z06 like the Corvette GT3, and now it's more like the Corvette Turbo if that makes sense. I think they really need a raw lightweight version to dice it up with the 911 GT3, 458 Speciale etc. etc. and I dont know if the Z07 will be enough.

Yeah, I agree. GM already did that with the Camaro Z/28 so they've got the blueprint...

I've never liked vettes my whole life, not one, always hated em thought the viper put this shyt to shame.... but not this year. Never thought an american car could be so lustful . I need the come up so i can copt one of these.. I'ma start robbing banks or something

The interior is pretty nice. I think its very comfortable. Never heard any owners or testers complain about it. 10 times better than the C5 and C6.

The rear is up to interpretation. Its grown a lot on me.

I can't forgive the fact that Chevy chooses to skimp on the Z06 and give owner's virtually the same interior as a Malibu....
