Tupac is one of the greatest songwriters ever in music. Far beyond hip-hop or "rapping", we're talking songmaking here

he's on some legendary hooks but he seemed to of put others on a lot of his hooks, for his most commercial efforts and that's all a part of song production and musical vision. He did reference vocals for a lot of those choruses and those songs wouldn't be the same without the departure in voice
