50 Cent's "Disco Inferno" is a definitive example of someone losing hunger

The Massacre singles is prime example of dumbing down lyrics to double his dollars. That's why I hate when people say it's a classic. He should've kept the Documentary singles

1. Disco inferno is hot and > In Da Club

2. In da club only became huge because white people, especially older ones, were able to sing "go shorty, it's your birthday" the song made it to kid bopz for crying out loud

he didnt lose hunger, just took the easy cash grab.....instead of focusing on art
He never cared about the art. power of the dollar had about 14 different styles he jacked on it. 50 always had simple ass bars.

The hype for 50 at the time was so incredible that people were convinced this song was anything more than trash.

DJs forced it on the radio and at the clubs. Corny people blasted it out their cars. But like all things, hype always comes before a fall. especially when you release subpar records.

By the next album, people were already off 50

side note: "I Dont Need Em" is the best song on The Massacre to me. Chorus is a tad ghey but the energy and melody of that joint.....:ohlawd:

I remember this song dropped dudes would come up with lame duck excuses
to try to it sound like it was a hit.

''You gotta listen to da song when you in da whip''

''You gotta be in a club to really understand it''

''Take shotz of grey goose when you listen to da song it makes it more fun!''

Dude just face it the song is wack.......

I liked the song. I don't think it was a matter of hunger. 50 still had it. "Hustler's Ambition" from the GRODT soundtrack is evidence of that. At the time, it didn't matter what 50 Cent dropped, it was going to be all over the radio. They didn't even have to force it. The Massacre was anticipated and there wasn't a rapper bigger than 50 at the time. He was possibly the biggest artist out at the time. I mean, he was competing with Mariah Carey for the biggest album released in 2005.
