Even though HHH was a lame face he was over. He's hearing these struggle boos and looking for an exit plan. Either HHH is going bail out or turn on Orton and insert a much more over heel.

NOC isn't supposed to be the payoff, tho. This is powerful enough to culminate at Mania 30 if all goes right. NOC is just the next phase of the building project. Like putting up the drywall

NOC ain't the next phase, the RAW the night after will be next phase. They are doing a good job at establishing the angle but a very lousy one at selling the PPV. They have to struck a balance because Bryan shouldn't win the belt yet but he also can't keep getting layed out.

This feeling that they can keep kicking his ass until October and that everything will be fine once he wins is :mindblown: to me. Make him win and exchange from time to time to give the angle some life and the fans some hope. As I said, next week in Toronto inside a red hot arena would be the perfect time for Bryan's first "win" over The Corporation but will they? I fukking hope breh, I fukking hope... :lupe:

The firing of Cody is obviously going to jump start the next phase, and we will probably see that at NOC. Triple H putting everyone on the stage like bytches while D-Bry catches the beats is a DIRECT setup for Cody to bust in on RAW weekly and do that damage.

C'mon brehs. What's the point of being smarks if we can't even do the smart part right?

Count me in as another guy that doesn't understand the hate for the Bryan storyline. They are legit building up a face and HHH going all in in that heel role.
I'm down with it.
its not even hate from me, just tired of seeing the same ending on both shows 5 times in a row, now. :aicmon: its just boring

I saw 0.2 seconds of Raw which was Big Show fake pouting and then swinging on :bryan:

Looks like DB still getting them beats.

What are they doing with RyBerg? This would be a good time to get Bryan to talk him out of bullying, turn him back face and even the odds. It also would tie up the loose end on the Shield/Ryback feud but that makes too much sense for the WWE writers who I think throw darts at a board and while watching WCW 2000 episodes.

Cody interfering also made sense this week though :mjpls:

All I'm saying is that they better do something different than lay Bryan out and show him having no chance against The Corporation. It's the go home show, they HAVE to sell the idea of vulnerability of the big bad bully to sell some PPVs.

This is some of HHH's best heel work and it's gettng struggle boos. But he wasn't getting any heat in 2002 when he was handed the belt but we all know how that turned out. THAT HEAT. :ohlawd: I don't think there's any hope for Orton though. The way his crowd reaction has totally evaporated in a month is amazing. I've NEVER seen anything like this.

That's what happens when you're publicly called a belt holder by the true top heel of the storyline.

Orton lack of heat is outright distressing. Hunter and Stephanie have been great though. As long as they don't screw it up, I'm completely cool with their heel work.

...you have NO idea how hard it is for me to type that...

Which means when Bryan finally goes over the chase will be worth it. Or have we as wrestling fans forgotten what a proper build up is all about? Bryan is a little man in a big man's world, he is being booked properly.
Well there's two things at work here that have people concerned:

1) Fans have gotten used to the superman face so anytime a heel wins an exchange it feels like the face is being buried in comparison. But yeah, the heel being strong and face finally overcoming the odds is more traditional booking. BUT...

2) There's no guarantee that Dbry is actually gonna come out on top eventually. Look at Booker. Look at Ryder. They have a history of burying people they dont want getting over without them. Its funny that that's actually how the McMahons are playing it kayfabe but do they actually feel the same irl too? Whos to say they didnt tell Bryan that he'll be made by this angle and then just decide to change plans one week and fukk him over? Lots of people have said this is just an extended filler angle til Cena comes back and jumps right back into the title picture. Where does that leave Bryan?
