T.I. had an interesting theory that Drake isn’t actually that dumb, but is forced to move the way he does because of his unqualified fanbase that doesn’t really understand music. I’m not sure how to feel about that though...I doubt Drake intentionally never made a good album just because of his fanbase, lol.
