Closer look at the heathens.
Breh, please stick to 167th n shyt. You're wrong on a few fronts.
Gentrification has certainly started to lay its claws on the Bronx. The Bronx (Mott Haven in particular) has enclaves of Brownstones too and guess what? They are selling. Condos coming to Mott Haven and guess what? Its practically sold out.I'm in the south Bronx almost every single day.
Up in the north Bx, developers are hounding ppl to sell.
Highbridge is mostly shytty, but I've walked around there by myself at 3am don't exaggerate. Do you know how much co-ops are going for a hop away on the concourse? Keep thinking gentrification ain't gonna gobble up the Bx. Stop trying to talk like all of the Bx is some downtrodden warzone.
California literally has a history of making examples of rappers.
New York rappers wouldn't even deal with California like that until a few years ago! DMX, Nas, Jay-Z, even Biggie when he was alive joked about it.
After spending time actually living away from New York, I'd even go as far as saying outside of dudes in North Carolina and Virginia (and maybe flyover states), nobody even takes us seriously, no one fears New York anymore. WE know it's the greatest place on earth, they think it's all gentrification and past its prime.
An intact ribcageWhat else but a mic does one need to perform?
