LMAO, I really thought that the Katrina thing and all the support Kobe was giving it would have earn him some bonus points but I guess not. Kobe's disconnect from the black culture has been because he always came off like a spoiled brat even way back when who was 'forcing' it.

As dumb as it sounds I always believed Kobe never having a GOAT shoe hurt his status, like Grant Hill for example. He basically grew up like Kobe in a well-to-do environment where he most likely was the only black in his school for his formative years yet G Hill was more embraced even though Grant was a cornball (but not a cornball brotha, big difference) and soft but he had those Filas working in his favor. It really was the shoes.

His shoes early on matches his personality which was a fukking fakkit

Brolic... Alcoholics
I'm sure the gap in popularity between Lebron and Hobe Tobe Lec00n Bryant will widen even further. How any self respecting black man can even still consider Kobe an all time great is still baffling maybe, unless you're talking all time great c00ns in American sports history.

Oh I don't know becuz he's actually good at the fukking sport.

If you're not some kind of kin to Trayvon or didn't put in work to the Trayvon Foundation, or wasn't marching in the streets after the verdict, you should really shut through fukk up.

Lakers ain't hire kobe for anything outside of basketball reasons. Long as he ain't getting locked-up, drug habit, and committing felonies...his outside life means very little to the Lakers as those things affect his ability to generate revenue.

Kobe doesn't work for MSNBC so he doesn't have to be in like with democratic opinions.

Get the fukk out of here. No one is looking for Kobe to be the next Malcolm X or anything, just simply stand up for something, especially when it pertains to injustices inflicted upon the black community as was the case with the Trayvon murder.

Keep acting as if Tobe is just some basketball player with no influence on the youth or the general American populations psyche at large. The fact this c00n would make such heinous comments regarding the Trayvon incident does nothing more than assuage the guilt of white supremacists and further throw self respecting black folk like Lebron and Wade under the proverbial bus.

The fact that Kobe would have the audacity to make such a ridiculous statement does significant damage to the movement shining light on the inequalities and injustices faced by African Americans.

fukk how many he's scored up until this point honestly he's a c00n, nothing more, nothing less. I can see why his mom wanted to sell his shyt. Probably wanted nothing to do with that c00n after being treated like shyt for so long.

i'm 28. When I was a youth Iverson>>>Kobe by 1997. Kobe was cool...then iverson crossed up Jordan and the reign was taken.

I ain't check for kobe until I was almost of legal drinking age. I thought he was over-hyped and didn't feel he was as tough as Iverson. Once shaq left i saw kobe was a serious baller and worthy of jordan comparisons.

And Kobe don't speak for all black people. Kobe speak for Kobe as I speak for I. Kobe being black means nothing to me...he doesn't represent my view any more than Jim Brown. I'm black and have my own views and anyone of another race that is purposely ignorant to say blacks on TV represent me is no friend of mine and they probably live under a rock anyways.
