Palestine is occupied territory, Palestinians are not in a position of power or influence, and they're at the mercy of Israel who want to not only take over Jerusalem but also Gaza and the West Bank.

What exactly are Palestinians supposed to do in this situation?

First thing they should do is stop being in denial about losing the war(shyt multiple wars) with Israel. Gaza is an open air prison(your words) because the good ppl in Gaza decided to put their faith in a shytbag organization who has held them hostage. Peace offerings have happened forever only to get denied because they think they have more leverage than they actually do. Israel has offered land swaps for the longest time but Palestinians always want more. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but they have no power or leverage and should take whatever they can get. That’s a harsh reality. They have minimal support from even their Arab Muslim neighbors. People talk a big game about Palestine because it’s such an emotional topic for many but at the end of the day most of Palestine’s “allies” don’t actually give a fukk about the state and you can check that by looking at the pledged money for rebuilding Gaza and then the actual money that came in. Their brethren failed them.

Israel is the occupying force. It collects taxes on behalf of the PA. You're seriously telling me that it cannot fix the sewage issue or have some other organization or country (ex: France) to come and fix it.

This is Germany thread all over again. Hamas may not have been good caretakers, but Israel is the one exacerbating the issue and preventing it from being fixed.

This is not a population problem, but a government problem. So it needs a government solution, not a "tell all the Gazans to leave" solution.

The funds Israel provides Gaza get misused by Hamas and you want them to keep sending funds? Tell Hamas to stop stealing Gazan money and the people would have everything they’re supposed to. Tunnels and missles aren’t free. You wanna waste your budget on that shyt then you can’t complain about basic necessities.

Would that have been your argument to black South Africans during apartheid as well? :mjpls:

I've seen a few documentaries and read some article about it. I think it's the only practical solution unfortunately.

1.)Hamas and Israel can't see eye to eye and it's the only thing that can stop the waves of retribution.
2.)Gaza headed for 'environmental catastrophe'
3.) Can't create or afford the energy needed to be sustainable

And where will the Palestinians go? Plus Hamas is not the only armed faction in Gaza. There is Islamic Jihad and also ISIS who just declared war against Hamas over the Trump Jerusalem descion. Egypt and Jordan won't take them.

:jbhmm:You know, the Israeli government only started going far to the right after a large influx of immigrants from Russia.

Maybe immigration can be a problem.

I pointed them out for being the government not as the only armed group. Wasn't aware of ISIS in Gaza. Relocate them to the West Bank and merge the West Bank with Jordan. Jordan shouldn't be given a choice in the matter.
The Gulf talks about patronage but never follows though. Instead of essentially wasting it or never being able to follow though in Gaza invest it directly in Jordan creating cities and businesses with special economic zones.
Time for the Gulf to walk the walk. The Palestinians have been held hostage more by the Golf and surrounding Arab states than anyone.

Also there are still Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and I'd imagine Golf states to this day time to make reparations and repatriate them. I only became aware of due the Syrian Civil War but there are still Palestinians living in ghetto like conditions there. The Arab/Muslim world has failed Palestine it's time to make amends.

Arabs see Iran and Turkey more of an enemy than Israel. If they wanted to they could have changed the military balance on the ground. Simply arm and supply the Palestinians with ATGMs,manpads and see how fast the military balance changes. Iran did that to Hezbollah and Israel struggled to against them.

It will be the final solution.

So Arabs would much rather side with their so called eternal enemies (Judeo-Christian people, symbolised by the British empire) than with the only two civilised Islamic powers that were responsible for much of the Islamic world maintaining some dignity after the fall of Arab civilisation 800 years ago ? In that case, they deserve all the shyt theyre getting. Pathetic :picard:

:francis:That situation would only be comparable if the Afrikaners were also natives who were forced immigrate to distant lands by another foreign invader 2000 years ago, then returned to their native lands, that were then occupied by another people

The Arab governments never gave one fuk about the Palestinians. They only brought them up for domestic political considerations. Sad that this is the way the Palestinians find out.
