Muslims are too sensitive and think that they're all in a group that needs to respond on behalf of everyone else.

I do security part time on weekends

And we are tasked with deactivating badges of terminated temp employees. And those employees ain't even told they'd been terminated.

So they come in the facility, swipe their badge and it doesn't work. They come to me and ask why. I tell em and I'm always on guard that they might go bat shid crazy and shoot up the place

that shyt happened to me back in the day.....woke up at 4 am, took a 30 minute drive to work. walked in swiped my badge. didn't work. they looked at the sign in sheet and told me my name wasn't on there. the temp supervisor walked in and looked all distraught when he seen me. dude was like "the agency didn't call you?"....I was like nah.....he was like yea they gave you the day off. but since you came down, i'll pay you for 4 hours. I was like whatever. knew something was shady. sure enough, next day they called me and told me i've been terminated. wasn't trippin though....took my ass back to sleep and got that unemployment

who said anything about everyone having a gun? answer this. you're in a library and all of a sudden you hear gun shots. you see people running in horror, as a masked man is shooting them down. simple question, would you prefer to be armed or unarmed in that situation?

like i said, i dont get how black people are so anti-gun. having a community full of responsible gun owners would help a lot more than it hurts.

I remember in undergrad there was an issue of whether or not to allow guns on campus. The ruling was no.

It's common sense, a bunch of people WITHOUT training wielding a gun? It's one thing if people had thorough mental evaluation, training on how to use the gun, background checks etc. etc. but this isn't realistic.

The fact is, in other countries with much fewer guns, there is much less gun violence. European countries, Asian countries, you name it. America has a hard on for guns and their wide accessibility has lead to this situation.

The only solution is a mass melt down of guns, however the gun nuts would go ape shyt if that happened.

I'm not a coward that needs to have a gun on me in order to feel safe.

However, I'm not anti-gun. I'm anti mass number of guns in mass number of hands in public. Having a gun in the home to protect your family is perfectly fine, but if the whole family is packing while going Christmas shopping in the mall? That's a slippery slope that will take us back to the wild wild west.

i don't know the odds of getting caught up in a mass shooting. but we've had 355 this year, so close to one per day. that's not including any other killer that could have been stopped by a pedestrian with a gun either.

all i'm asking is, as black people, how do you defend the right to leave yourselves completely defenseless? after the holocaust, jews made sure to insure that what happened to them could never happen again. now israel is sitting on nukes, defense systems, and the means to kill anyone that looks at them the wrong way.

black folks on the other hand. we could literally be re-enslaved tomorrow, cus we have not properly fortified ourselves. cacs out here hoarding guns, ammo, body armor, etc. but nikkas on some "well we just need to take away all the guns." nah, nikka, it's too late for that. over 300mil guns out there in the streets. the best we can do is exercise a right that whites fight hard to restrict us from, and buy some damn protection for ourselves.

The problem is black people are completely dependent and reliant on the safety provided by white people. We need to work towards more self reliance. It makes no sense for a group of people to place their own collective safety in the hands of their historical oppressors. That is completely and utterly insane.
