Of course mixed people have an identity. Everyone has one. But mixed ppls isnt as clear, and as solid and defined. And to a certain degree they can choose an identity, while we dont choose to be black.

And I dont mean African heritage in the fashion that u perceive. I dont mean u should wear a kufi and speak an African language. I mean being conscious of the common place where not only AAs come from, but West Indians come from, Afro-Latinos come from, and Africans still reside in. A unifying common land and history. Of course, if u dont care about being black...
