One of the most impressive things about Alchemist is that his beats all have the same feel but not the same vibe in that they're not formulaic but he always brings the same "texture" to whatever he samples that makes it so distinct.

Finishing up his masterclass on Aulart. Pretty informative but too much time was spent covering his background and history. He has some great insights in those details but I wanted a little bit more on the technical side overall. But he covers all of the basics for his formula of song making which is really dope to get a behind the scenes insight from someone of his caliber

The Baby $hit beat is from the same song that Who Shot Ya and Duel of the Iron Mic sampled ???:ohhh:

I keep meaning to watch this. I've been following his career since Murda Muzik. Its amazing how prolific and consistent hes been.

It would be cool if he made a few choppy high energy beats like he used to from time to time, but hes obviously into the mellow atmospheric stuff these days. Its still dope music and he picks dope rappers to work with.

DOPE! Alc is a master of his craft for real.

Cool to hear him talk about his approach and why he switched up his original process of beat making to where he is now. He’s continued to evolve, which is why he’s still relevant and still making bangers

Speaking of...

Him and Banks doing a one producer, one artist album of around 10 clean tracks with a sprinkle of features would be so dope as they have amazing chemistry. Beats and voice fit together perfectly like Johnny J and Pac:
