Ummm just so you know the A7 and CLS are actually not considered in the same class of vehicles. If you were looking for a fairer comparison the S7 would be closer.

The A7 was the direct response to the CLS. So how are they not in the same class?
The CLS550 with the AMG package was Mercedes’s indirect competitor to the S7. And the CLS63 competed with the RS7.
Now that Mercedes has a CLS53 that’s the direct competitor to the S7. Since there’s no more CLS63 the GT63 4 Door will now compete with the RS7.
Lol they are both 4 door coupes. That’s what makes them the same class of vehicle.
Look at the history behind the A7. It’s Audi’s response to the class defining CLS.
They are the same size. Both 4 door coupe designs. They are in the exact same class. How u gonna compare a regular cls to an S7? That’s like comparing a Mustang GT to a Hellcat lol
