America always suppressed miniorities throughout its tenure as a nation but in recent years the government has been charting scary practices.

Patriot Act
Corporation controlled congress
Horrible drug laws
Horrible education
Horrible health

Corruption unforeseen in the Trump Administration. What kind of Government are we?

Oligarchy...what all democracies descend into.

Always has been, though. Not much has changed.

Everywhere
Never was a democracy it's supposed to be a republic. In a republic citizens elect officials to represent our interest.
It's a representative democracy which is what a republic is.

Racist government

Racist White people would rather shoot themselves in the foot than do anything that would benefit black people

Healthcare for example. Racist whites are against it because if it was done we would get it too.

I would go a step further and call it a ‘corporate’ plutocracy...

When you think about it in the eyes of the law a corporation is considered a ‘person’ and in some respects have more rights than actual people.
