I used to tune in every day when she was on shade 45. Star comes off extra salty. How you gonna be damn near 50 years old crabbing over what another person is doing at 40? Her career isn't at a dead end.

who else should have interviewed him... Sway? Charlemagne? Most definitely is a canoe to a yacht when Star basically got jack shyt but a home studio broadcasting out on the internet when this chick not only rules the airwaves on the radio, (in comparison) she's getting that TV ish on lock.

I respect Star usually but...

I'm not disagreeing with you in the fact I see no issue with her interviewing Boosie, because it's just her job. I agree with you on that. I just think Star was clowning.

But we're really not going to compare Angela Yee's career to Star's. That would be outlandish. Star was beating Howard Stern in the ratings and was the number 1 morning show period, not just "urban" radio. And he was the template to basically every urban radio show host now that's considered "A loud mouth", only difference is you can tell he's authentic with it, and they're just playing a role.

Nobody watches/listens that show for Yee. lol. And Star was on the exact same show on VH1 she was on and in a more memorable role too.

Ah man that VH1 show was horrible and boring. Angela Yee admitted they cut a lot of her scenes out so her personal life shyt must have been extra boring. Star was way more entertaining in his limited role. He's going to be on TV eventually he just has to find the right platform.
I don't like hearing her voice but I do think Angela brings a lot to the table on the Breakfast Club. She gets a lot of somewhat personal information out of the guests without being too abrupt or intrusive. She drops hints that she's already aware of the guests coming and goings so they can either be honest, tell part of the story, or avoid the question altogether (which is usually good for a laugh).
We as men ain't necessarily going to applaud a chick for going out every night and having a network of gossipy chicks, but I respect that she's using her info to make the show more entertaining as opposed to just clucking & blowing up spots.

http://imgur.com/CnjcpXY There's only one video on there I see over 10k.

They do get 15 more exposure than Star gets by the MILLIONS of people who listen to the show :snoop:

Why does he get less exposure than a canadian kid with a video blog? Cuz he's just not popular and getting 5k views on a video isn't crazy. That one guy The Kartel Family does that too.

But as Star said, The Breakfast Club brand is not owned by them (Envy, CGod, and Yee). They can be fired, removed, replaced, suspended at any time. What their building up does not belong to them.

I agree with everything your saying except Angela Yee is not ruling the airwaves...The Breakfast Club show is. But she and the rest of them are doing what they are suppose to do and that is use TBC as a launching pad to do other more lucrative things. In the world of journalism exclusive 1 on 1 sit down interviews like the "Boosie Is Home" Press Conference are good opportunities for a media personality like Yee to raise her profile.

Boosie's press conference has 77k on one video, not including all the other clips and audio that floated around. It was getting a lot of traction/talk on Twitter. Much more than Star's show ever got.

To think that he wouldn't want Boosie on his show after he spends so much time telling us about how fake rappers are and how he only messed with 'real' people doesn't sound right.

Either way, it aint that serious. He's doing the same thing Angela Yee is doing, is older, and knows she doesn't book her own guests.

Star's show is talk radio. Interviewing rappers does nothing for him. People who listen and watch him are doing it to hear his perspective on current events...not to hear the words of some idiot illiterate rapper like Boosie.

Exactly. Star doesn't even talk about Hip Hop that often on his shows. It's about current news events and social commentary and philosophies

Star wins because The Breakfast club label themselves as 'the most dangerous' yet they never respond to any of the venom thrown in their direction from Star yet Char will sh*t on non threatening Drake all day.

I listen to Star on the daily but most of his opinions are shyt to me. He's just hilarious, especially when he sons his fans that call in. When he talks about things he has limited knowledge of that's when I have to :camby:

Which is pretty whenever he talks about sports.
