If she was raped; there's no test to prove it actually happened--years later.

Thats the part that makes these allegations all the more suspicious....why not go to a hospital and get DNA evidence immediately afterwards. Its not like he held them hostage for 20 years. It wouldve strengthened their case obviously to have something on record. Instead they wait til hes filthy and come out with stories like this

out of 16 women, NOT ONE went to the hospital? NOT ONE reported a crime?

I'm just trying to provide a contrast to the rest of childish skeptics, in here.

Bill slept around and, I assume, he is well traveled. Yes, I believe he's had a lot of deviant sex (adultery). But, I have to agree; the idea that she was raped and then put herself in another vulnerable position to her rapist raises questions.

Well no one cant be 100% sure of anything like this, but again we're talking about multiple women accusing this guy and not just one person.

With respect to her behavior, its not surprising that her actions were somewhat illogical given the situation. We live in a celebrity-worship-obsessed-with-wealth culture, where we are taught to feel inferior and subordinate to ultra successful people. Cosby was one of the biggest stars in the world at the time. Her being a lot younger, Im sure she tried to rationalize that she was at fault, or had difficulty reconciling his public image and stature with what he was did to her. American human psychology is a tricky thing and not at all rational...we're a victim blaming society, and Im assuming she blamed her self in the moment.

But since we're going the "logic" route --- if these are conniving women making all this up outta thin air, why wouldnt they concoct a story that presented themselves in a much better light? You're going to lie about Cosby raping you, and THIS is what you come up with? That makes less sense than anything.

If read my other posts, in this thread, I'm definitely not looking for a woman (or even a man) to be "logical" after a traumatic experience.

I never really like the logic of "multiple people with stories, but, no proof = legitimacy."

I just want to be the one that looks at this at both sides, not demonizing one who believes or not.
