basically.

They already had Cap's shield made out of adamantium in the movie (going with the Ultimate Universe Captain America shield), so there goes that.

No, they didn't. They specifically said the shield was made of Vibranium. Also, in Iron Man 2 they showed a SHIELD map in the background with a highlight of an African region which Jon Favreau confirmed was Wakanda. Then again, they also highlighted a region of the ocean which was rumored to be Atlantis, but no word on a Namor movie yet either (although attempts have been made).
