R&B Any new-age R&B artists with deep voices?

I like those deep bass slow-tempo 808's that have been popular with the genre nowadays. But every song has that same high-pitched tuned voice, I'm tired of it. Every artist sounds the same to me.

Anyone know of any artists with deep, powerful voices? It's a combo I think would work well with the sound.

She is FAR from new age, but Lalah Hathaway has a really deep voice. She is just starting to get some mainstream love recently.
