I’m going to NYC in October for 3 days, just to sightsee and such and I was wondering if anyone could hook me up to some cheap hotels that’s within the 90 to 150 dollar range? I’m really not trying to spend too much just to have a place to stay.

Depends how much you're willing to "slum". I've stayed at the World Hotel in the Lower East Side/Chinatown for $75 a night. Insanely cheap. Shared bathroom though.
