Anybody ever worked on a cruise ship?

Im thinking of getting a job just to travel the world i don't even care about money anymore...they can pay me whatever...hell i would do it for free....im so tired of chasing money... and being tired all the time...im @ the point where i want to just travel world, read and chill.....that's why i hustle anyway...my dream was to travel the world

Sounds fun, you're in your own little world for months at a time - like a civilian submarine gig. Time away from the neighborhood can be good.

Count up all the tips and bam. I hear those folks make enough not to have to work every couple months.

Also their rooms are little as shyt and you can't do shyt basically but stay in staff areas during your off time. Hours are long as shyt. Bruh if you really Wana travel, I'd suggest flight attendant.

They register the ships in third world countries so they can work people like slaves.

It's a modern day slavery gig. They usually hire people from South East Asia, South American,and Eastern Europe.

There are no tips. You don't tip on a cruise ship. If the worker accepts a tip, they'll be fired.

There's a hierarchy system within the ranks, with the cleaning crew and waitstaff,at the bottom, treated like trash. And entertainment and cabin crew, on top, treated with respect.

They throw a party in their cabins every nite at sea. They steal booze and food from the cruise, but if they get caught they're fired.

i think they're usually immigrants from what i've seen but i guess depends on job..they also get off the ship to visit the different places only for a few hours..was asking one girl about the ship life..it's long hours and shyt pay. She says she barely gets off the ship to any of the places but it could be she might have experienced it already. I think really there are a few places these ships goto which is eastern/western carribean. I'd imagine you'd get sick of it quick.

I have a homie out in Miami that does IT for one... I been thinking about applying as well. But only for a technical type job. From what I seen it's mostly filipinos that do manual labor on there (and not the cute kind) but there are other staff members and jobs as well
