Anyone own a Nissan with the CVT transmission

I see a lot of people complaining about them on nissan forums and they put out an extended warranty because of so many complaints.So are nissans even worth looking at? Im seeing brand new altimas for 16k and 17k.Has anyone had their cvt go out on them..

I have a 2008 maxima that i got in 2009, within 18 months my transmission went out, they replaced it and said the warranty was like 100,000 i believe or somewhere around that number. That is the only issue Ive had with my maxima

Yea, I been driving Infiniti's years and I may leave them after my lease is up even though the redesign happened before the acquisition.

They completely refined the CVT for 2015. Only time can tell how reliable it is
