Is racisrt not necessarily the individual. The powers that be have been making money for so long off this message so can you blame them for no switching shyt up if there was no market and money for it nobody would make.it.

You're white breh, you couldn't understand. Black people here know the deal, you're better off sitting back and learning instead of outright denying what we know is real.

Doing exactly that is why the white posters here come across as ignorant.

i think a meeting like that did happen over 20 years ago when they saw how influential rap had become. They saw how songs like "Fight the Power" could influence, motivate and uplift OUR people and purposely pumped more money behind and marketed the more destructive brand of music(extreme materialism, gang/thug culture, promiscuity} thats prevalent today in order to keep us "blind". They dont want us aware of things like group economics. They need us to continue to be in this materialistic mindset and putting our money into white hands. They need us to continue filling up private prisons. There's many layers to the systematic oppression and hiphop is only 1 of the layers being used

I never hid the fact I'm white unlike most ppl on here, because I'm white I can't have an opinion on this site? Some of you really do have a 1950s world view when it comes to race. Act like somebody is part of the problem based on race and not attitudes and beliefs. That's exactly what I posted it's attitudes and beliefs towards ppl that cause shyt to be marketed to certain communities. If you don't believe that and believe some how all ppl of different races are consciously trying to bring other races down, you have a really shytty view of humanity as a whole. In short if you don't like an artist don't support them and they won't be around long. Your racial views don't trump economics.

@PhonZhi, go through my posts and show me where I said I was black or even brought up race? Why should you have known I was white? Unlike most ppl on this site I don't race bait so unless you looked through my webcam at me shouldn't have known my race, don't best yourself up, acting like I tricked you :mjlol:. When asked directly I've always been honest. Anyway if you respond let's have an educated discussion instead of one centered on my CACness lol.

You're allowed an opinion regardless of your race. However, your post reads like denial, which I attribute to you being white.

Propaganda through censorship or pushing of negative stereotypes is real, here's a thread full of examples: http://www.thecoli.com/threads/agen...resion-of-knowledge-info-is-happening.304865/

theres a few of us here who are aware of whats going on @Adidas_Jumper86 @Wild self @Matt504 @SupremeLight @Truth200
@theworldismine13 @aaaaaaa @BmoreGorilla @JamesCannon we just need to keep fighting the good fight and waking our fellow black people up online and offline. I have these convos irl also. yea, u may come off as the "lame" but fukk it. Somebody has to be that dude who cares. They're loving this "turnt up" culture that we are in. Keep preaching brehs. If you can make even 1 person have that :ohhh: moment then you're doing something. This poisonous hiphop culture HAS to be shunned and rejected by us on a mass scale. We will never progress as long as its infecting the minds of our youth. They are the future and the best way to hinder the progress of any community is to take out the youth

@Dawgs_bruh you are right about propaganda through censorship, and that would hold weight if ppl lime Cole and kdot (conscious rappers pro black rappers) didn't have the machine behind them and only artists like chief keef did. Since the fall of segregation the system is more.based on class than race because its illegal to discriminate based on race and its easier to be pick on poor people instead of minorities. If you call that BS you've never been to jail(rich ppl don't tend to stick around). My point in saying that is growing up poor you have the system working against you, not as much as being a.minority on top I will admit but to act like cause I'm white I automatically can't see certain things is ridiculous and if I said you're black so you just can't understand how would that be received? Would you take me seriously? I'm just saying you know that's an intellectually dishonest argument, and is a way to just marginalize my opinion based on race.

Sorry my posts are all over the place, a lot of big topics being discussed.

Music can and does effect your mood. This is a fact and not debatable. There is a science behind it. Negative lyrics over depressing or aggressive beats will bring out a predictable human reaction. There is a reason why folks used to get into fights back when dj would play the lil jon songs in club. It was like clockwork. Music affects your mood and your mood affects your actions. Its really that simple. Only listening to degrading and negative music will affect you and thats why we dont hear variety on hip hop stations anymore. its by design. from a music theory and production stand point almost 100% of music played on black radio stations is in the minor keys. pop music for example uses major keys and "happy" chords. Thats why you "feel" better when listening to pop radio. its not the song its the key its in. back in the early mid 90s it wasnt uncommon to hear way more tonal variety in hip hop and rnb production.
The most important post in this entire thread. This music affects the SUBCONCIOUS. it can affect one's mood which in turn can affect ones' thoughts which can lead to an affect in ones' actions.

@toomanydoses wasn't trying to diss. Just from my point of view as a black man its tooo obvious to me how mainly the worst stereotypes of us are pushed towards the youth. I dont see any other races rapping about killing their own or dealing drugs to their own community's. I mean if there are please post the vids. But even then its not celebrated and glorified in the mainstream like it is with us. We literally sing and dance along to songs about our own genocide:snoop:. I mean listen to "Try Me" by Dej Loaf. She's LITERALLY saying she "hates nikkas....Ima Nazi" :snoop:
