there's no definition of racism in sociology (as someone well versed in behaviorial science) that states you need to be in a position of power, none at all. YOu are trying to loosely play with certain aspects taht involve racism, that's not the underlying definiton or defining anything of racism. racism can incorporate institutional power as a way of supporting institutional racism, that's true. I mean in order to allow racism to permeate an entire geographical location in all social aspects (politicis, sports, education) you need to have institutional power. However, to be racist does not necessitate you being in a position of power.
