good news and bad news. as a black woman, i wanna see her tell more personal stories about black women. this and selma, though a good look, is a black woman basically restricted to stories about black men. of course i am happy that a great director is getting a great opportunity etc, but the whole point of someone like ava coming through is to tell stories about black women, which we dont see enough off.

saying that, its still a great look for a great director who will only get better.

Yeah they're missing me with that ant-man shyt. I'll rely on you cats to fill me in because I have the same amount of desire to see that as I had for entourage
ima check it out though cause im all in with these comic movies (both DC and Marvel) cause I never thought id see this day man
like you... im a HUGE spider man guy. remember watching that shytty ass show they use to play in syndication of him just basically climbing a wall for like 25 minutes
now the stuff theyre doing
smh
craziness
plus im interested in seeing how they include the Scott Lang Ant-Man into the Avengers if they indeed go ahead and do that

It was a rumor..and truth be told, until some other outlet other than Marvel Cinematic Universe Exchange confirms it, I'm still going with rumor

Man you know Disney don't want it with him. You see the issues they've had with Whedon this time around. You think McQueen is going to take orders?:whoa:

I agree with you. Nothing against Complex but so far they are the only verified news site confirming it right now.

This is a good look. Marvel needs someone credible and beyond reproach and Duvernay needs to get with a studio with deep pockets.
I saw Selma finally and enjoyed it. But nothing about it made me think she is this Awesome director. Still do not have my mind made up about her, but I'm Willing to check out more of her stuff.

Vanity Fair reporting it also, tho they are quoting the same source

:patrice: even Cinemablend said in their article "take this with a grain of salt because this is a new outlet and we can't vouch for their reliability" so why in the hell would Vanity fair....man journalism is in the toilets

You know some of that is going to be edged out...then again, if she goes for a tone similar to winter soldier, it will make sense
Going to be hard to make it in the tone of TWS given the fantasically element to panther. They were able to do that with cap due to the political and militarial aspects of the story. No way marvel are going to take a dark serious tone when a story involves magic and an advanced africa
