Aww Naw was one of the most underrated songs from its era. them boys ripped that shyt.

first bol went off.

"My first song was like forty-eight bars with no hook
You hear me flippin through my pages out my favorite notebook
The microphone was in the closet (What?)
No headphones, we lost it
nikkas scared to get some water, roaches hangin over the faucets
No AC, Tez'll break a sweat just tryin to make beats
E-Dubz was being a hustler, (Heeeyy man!)
All play flirtin all his customers, and flat broke
Nappy smokin blacks out on the back porch
I'm thinkin I got everything a country boy could ask for"

Nice groove from a part of the country that gets largely overlooked musically:ehh:

But I don't believe any of that "we all get along around here" business in the vid even a little bit.
Yeah I think they saw the moment for what it was and tried to capitalize on some hometown classics. Remember, they had a rock version of "Aw Naw" that was on Madden and shyt.

I think breh that follows him (with the husky voice) and the one that kinda sounds like Andre 3000 were legit talent. Like they coulda been another southern super duo

What's disappointing though is the singles really ain't represent the album... which is normally common sense but you would've thought "Po Folks"/"Aw Naw" would be album cuts while something more mainstream is the single, but it's like those two tracks and the rest sounds like they're tryna get on the radio :dead:

See they issue was deeper than that. I never even wanted to hear the whole album as opposed to someone like Field Mob whose singles werent the strongest but albums was lit.
