3rd Bass is from Brooklyn, Beastie NYC, and EM is from Detroit. None of them lived in the exact suburbs, but they had their own sound. I don't see your point. Trying to sound and rap just like a Wu Icon and rap legend is just lame. Be original. Same for Iggy funky ass.

Em's first album got panned for sounding like a nas/az record stylistically. But it's easier to gloss over that because vocally he doesn't sound very "black" with him being high pitched and nasally.

While those two components all play a role in the make up of an emcee, there is a distinction.

To me Bronson sounds like he has a typical NY accent. Him and ghost have a similar rasp but their music isn't very much alike from my experience. Only project of his that has ever gotten any extended burn was RC and not because it sounded like a ghostface album.

The Bronson/Ghostface shyt is stupid. Can someone explain to me how it's even possible to "steal" a flow? There are only so many syllables to emphasize, and only so many rhythms if you want to spit on-beat.

Hip hop is art, it doesn't belong to anyone. Let's get that out the way first. The genre is full of people of all colors making or doing dope shyt. Rick Rubin, El-p, Alchemist...they're just as "hip hop" as anyone else.

What separates Iggy is that she's not even a hip hop artist - she's a failed model/singer who started rapping as a last ditch attempt to become famous. She's not Eminem, Bronson, or just about any other white rapper who grew up ingrained in the culture of hip hop. She jumped in to make money. That makes her a fake sucker to me, couldn't care less about her color.
