How does community service support your children financially?

If the state is paying to raise your child then having the parent do mandatory community service is a way to compensate the state for the payment. And it gives the parent doing community service incentive to try to find real work.

Also, if the parent is working under the table the wages won't show and it forces the parent to report the wages or run the risk of working and doing community service.

I have over 15 years experience as both a custodial parent recieving child support
And as a non custodial step parent who's husband pays child support
I also waived all child support after my new marriage.
I am also currently a shared custodial grandparent who receives NO Child support based on a big ole whopping child support order of $203 a month.

Please don't tell me what I do or don't know about child support and family court.
