He's being charged for attempted murder because he kept hitting even after he was conscious and stopped only until he was restrained. Then added to it by giving him a stomp on the head while he was in a seizure which is caused by a concussion, which is permanent damage.

A little scrap would be giving him a one two, sees him fall then backs off.

And this is exactly the mindset that breeds the prison industrial complex in this country and why nothing will ever be done about it. Ya'll look at vidoes of prisons in some european countries and laugh at how they live better than people on the outside, but there's a reason why said countries have such low crime rates. Prison is not a means for revenge or punishment, though in some cases the outrage is understandable and sometimes justified. It's meant for rehabilitation so that offenders can be brought back into society better than they left. Instead they're robbed of freedom for extended periods of time and shunned by society when they're released. So a kid like that who is truly in need of help, but probably doesn't have the means to get it on the outside is forever fukked once he enters the system. And the vicious cycle repeats itself

Nah listen, there are some people that are just built for destruction and savagery. Non-violent drug arrests make up the majority of people in prison.Drug dealers/users people weren't killing anybody, at least most/some of them. That's the primary fuel for the prison industrial complex.

It's not just brain damage, it's the bones in his fukking face, his jaw, his nose, his neck. That type of attack could've legitimately killed him. The kid wasn't just beating him up to beat him up, that's one thing. He could've knocked him out and let it be that. I can't read thoughts, but you don't beat someone like that unless you're absolutely furious and trying to kill them.

He easily could've killed him like that. Concussions, especially severe ones can cause brain damage. That easily could've happened here.
