Actually he accomplished many of his promises and goals...
But outside of office I agree he won't have the shackles of the presidency on certain issues. I've read that he has plans to really expand the My Brothers Keeper program, and once outside the WH I think he'll be able to more easily get various $ interests to invest in the program, community centers, etc.

And yeah, he mentioned during one of the town hall meetings this year that My Brother's Keeper is going to be one of his main focuses when he leaves office. He's already seen good results so far.
