Third wave feminism has made these girls really arrogant and wielding power they think they have. Who the fukk gave black women the right to 'redefine' black masculinity? The very notion is absurd. Imagine black men trying to redefine black femininity by posting a pic of a woman in the kitchen baking cookies? The backlash would be huge.

Somebody need to draw sanaa lathan old ass in a kitchen in a apron baking cookies

These hoes surely need their femininity redefined asap

In all honesty this is a natural progression coming from a strong patriarchy. There's backlash. Redefining femininity to previous 1950's standards is not a progressive action that subverts oppressive gender roles. It's going back to how things were. They want to go forward.

In this society it includes trying to break down gender standards where things associated with being feminine are "bad" while masculinity is good. They see men shaming/being shamed for typically feminine things as a sign that femininity is lesser. Like women are being encouraged more to go into STEM programs and such, which is typically a male associated field, but a man being a nurse is laughable because it's typically a female associated role.

They also view the current form of masculinity as toxic in that subjugates women and gays violently and systematically. Like the guy who killed his gay son, murder of spouses, transwoman murders etc. So they see all of that and are like "this needs to be softened."

I personally think this is not the time to be trying to feminize black men given the current state of things and how things might unfold in 20 years. This isn't like the BPP having women hold guns and men participating in the Free Breakfast for Kids Program. But the hypermasculine on the part of men has to be balanced in a different way or else the internal push back will be stronger.

The only way to sustain a patriarchy in the long term at the bottom line is violence and laws, like Saudi Arabia. But that's definitely not the way to go. If black people were never given this European Christianity this would not be such an issue as it is now.

Edit: Since she swirls it could also be complacency in the white supremacy reason of feminizing black men. It's more comfortable for them. Like how they put Terry Crews in a bra. Take strapping black man and dress him in typical female clothes is a step in protecting white genetic survival.

Been saying for a while that we need a straight black male media aimed at black masculinity and heterosexuality unashamedly. We already know we are under attack, so we can sit there passively and complain or do something about it.

Of course why didnt i think of that promoting black men in dresses is progressive

I mean how could we ever progress as a people if black men are not wearing dresses
