Just watching a couple of the old eps now.

Joker is nowhere as nefarious as I remember him being.

In his first appearance, he mainly commits crimes so that Batman and Robin turn up. Then he gases and tries to kidnap them, on some performance art level shyt.

I mean the dude might legit have benefitted from psychiatric help instead of 'SOCK!' 'POW'!' on a weekly basis.

And people say Nolan didn't pay tribute to Batman 66. Let's not forget the finale of TDKR is basically a nod to Batman running through a street with a bomb in Batman: The Movie.

When burtons film came out he was a little salty they didn't ask him to play batman. So after that he sort of kept his distance
