I can't think of a Statham or Rock action movie that I would put on upper tier.
Rock been making kid action movies, he aint brought that fire like Sly did in Rambo 4 where he ripped that motherfukker's throat out.

People are letting The Rock's recent success cloud their judgment of a decade long period. The rock was nothing in 2006 like he is now. Since 2006 Cruise has been in Mission Impossible 3, Valkyrie, Knight And Day, Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol, Jack Reacher, Edge of Tomorrow, Oblivion, Mission Impossible Rogue Nation. That's a hell of a resume, although edge of tomorrow and oblivion are sci-fi action flicks not straight up pure action genre. But both had action components to them.
