The 80s hands down bc that’s where street/hip hop fashion originated, there was no precedent...there was no such things as hip hop brands, ppl took existing brands n made them hip hop...bally, cazals, dapper dan suits, polo, Benetton, sheepskins, etc....everything that came after was an emulation really and everything is coming back full circle to the styles that the 80s popularized

Damn that’s a great point. You’re absolutely right. It was better when hiphop was trying to find itself as a culture
