He made such a big splash on the scene in early 2017 and his popularity has only been growing since. Also he's arguably the most creative out of the bunch even though some of the "experimental" tracks are steaming hot piles of shyt, and he's one of the few rappers out nowadays that can actually rap, nothing special but at least better than Carti and Pump's mumbles. While Uzi is a close second for me, X seems to have the brighter future unfortunately imo
X is trash. He puts on the costume of a good rapper but he says absolutely nothing of substance. He is an artist about theatrics and the appearance of things, not the actual art. Not only that, he's a shytty person and the mainstream pushes him regardless, reallll suspect shyt to me. We're in the age of treating women like goddesses or getting your career destroyed and X is over here shoving BBQ utensils in pussies and beating bytches and still getting radio play. His fanbase scares me too, bro. No lie. Not because of who they are as people but he's basically starting a cult. shyt's weird. Bunch of teenyboppers ready to follow this dude off the cliff. AND HIS MUSIC TRASH!! He's a chameleon. He puts on costumes for the sake of entertainment. One day he's backpack rapper, next day he's soundcloud trapper, next day he's emo, and he's trash at all of them. That's what old heads don't get. Uzi can rap his ass off, he just doesn't play it up and try to be rapping on boom bap beats to appease you. X is probably smarter for it, but he does it because he knows he can get more fans through "versatility". Give me one good bar from X. I don't think I've heard one.
