Background: Joe Budden (born August 31, 1980)[1] is an American rapper who, in addition to being a solo artist, is a member of the American hip hop supergroup Slaughterhouse, alongside fellow rappers Royce da 5'9", Joell Ortiz, and Crooked I.

His most commercially successful single is the 2003 hit song "Pump It Up", from his self-titled album, which contains production from Just Blaze. He was formerly signed to major record label Def Jam, but left for his personal reasons and for them pushing back his album releases. After his splitting from Def Jam, he began recording and releasing mixtapes and albums on independent labels. In 2013, he released No Love Lost; his follow-up album, "Some Love Lost," was released November 4, 2014. Most recently, he released "All Love Lost" on October 16, 2015. Budden also co-starred on the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop: New York.

I can't name Budden's best song, much less verse. He has more 10/10 songs than most MC's people put in their top 10.

This is an underrated one though...

Not really sure how a hip hop fan could listen to dude rapping his ass off about real shyt and not respect it.

He merked that shyt for real. Everyone in Slaughterhouse did, but Joe outdid the other 3 by far IMO :banderas:

Here's my favorite old school verse/track from him. shyt is just :wow: & :mjcry:
