Who would you choose based on their top 5 films?

(Keeping it at top 5 since JS has more films on his resume. I guess you can switch Shaft and/or Four Brothers for some other films as well)

This is a tough one, but I gotta go with the Hughes brothers for their ability to step outside and do different genres

Singleton seems to have a lane that he rarely veers from

I don't know what underaged means, but it's criminally underated.

As far as I'm concerned, the Hughes Brothers have the three best films on the list (Dead Presidents, Menace II Society, Book of Eli)...I really don't see how this is close

I found Menace to be the more realistic less melodramatic version of Boyz in the Hood. I always liked it better.

I like the Hughes Brothers better.
