Not in this case, I completely agree if we're talking about who's the best all round artist, but this is basically in a sense..if we put them both on a beat and let them rap to the best of their ability for 3 minutes straight, who do you think is most likely to have the best verse.

I think you're mixing talent with rapper. The biggest part of being a great rapper is the material you put out.

If you're just basing this off a three minute freestyle, I'd still take Banks. In that same scenario though, who would get chosen over Ludacris?

Royce and it's not even close Banks has just had more success on a mainstream level

Banks Punchlines are nowhere near as nice as Royce's plus Royce has all sorts of crazy flow patterns and word play then you have A grade story telling like Part of me and Tabernacle.
Royce has a nicer delivery too Banks sounds all raspy.

Banks has crazy flow patterns and wordplay too breh. Banks since the top 5 series has had a lot of wordplay gems buried in his songs. I'm constantly catching new shyt.

I think Banks at his best edges Royce at his best by a little. Although if I bumped the bar exam 2 right now I might change my mind.
