I love both but cabbage 7 times outta 10 is better (at least IMO) than collards especially when stewed with the juice from the smoked meats (pause) and it can be eaten with or without hot sauce...

Collards are great also but unlike cabbage...hot sauce is a necessity when eating greens to balance out that earthy flavor...

Obviously there is variation based off of the skill level of the cook, but if you put the best cabbage up against the best greens, the greens are always going to win.
