I know Jessie had some sympathy for Howard and she said that he is a big brother to her...

Helen, Aaryan, and Elissa are already preparing just in case Howard comes back. They know a power shift will be inevitable and they know Amanda and McCrae will be the targets(Atleast Helen knows this). They are just to scared to take charge themselves. They are hoping he comes back and leads the way.
