It's better to compare big men to other big men and perimeter players to other perimeter players. MJ and Russell gather their individual stats relative to the position so Rebounds, blocks will always favor big man and steals, assists, will always favor perimeter players. Defense on the perimeter is different from defense on the low blocks etc... IMO KAJ is the goat big man and MJ is the goat perimeter player.

Bill Russell AT BEST in todays NBA would probably be Marcus Camby/Ben Wallace and thats with todays elite training and conditioning.
