I think y'all have the talent to win too, I'm not doubting that at all. I just think for y'all to win Carson is gonna have to have a game where he goes 20 of 30 for 330 and 3 TDs on some boss shyt. Carolina has simplified Scam's responsibilities where he can have 10 of 20 for 150 yards passing, 50 yards rushing and that be highly effective for them. They're gonna get the run game going and not ask Scam to do much. I just don't know if I trust the Carson I saw on Sat night to go into BOA and win

We're normally top 3 in run defense.Been that way for the last 3 seasons.I'll admit that we've tailed off a bit lately do to Frostee Rucker being out, but he's back now.He had last game to shake the rust off.

The thing about the Panthers is their intensity level. They start games amped the fukk up.I don't want the Cardinals to get off to a slow start. We gotta learn from the Seahawks mistakes. They came out lackadaisical as fukk. Can't let that happen.

And the weird shyt about Carson and multiple pick games....We still normally win those games:yeshrug:

He had a game against the Seahawks earlier in the year where he had 4-5 turnovers and we still won the game 39-32.

I'm just waiting to see how it plays out.

Low key, Ted Ginn owes us a few turnovers, to:sas2:

Just the way karma works. He played like so much like a bytch for us last year, something has to give.

The universe MUST balance itself out this Sunday night.

The boy is due....just watch

According to Pro Football Focus, the Cardinals OL was 17th in the League this year. That is pretty much the definition of an average group. They go up against a Panthers front that may not have necessarily earned its fierce reputation.

The Panthers have played 17 games so far. In those games, they've faced 9 teams with an OL ranked higher than the Cardinals:

Cowboys (1): Without Romo to worry about, Panthers stacked the box, got 3 sacks and only allowed 31 rush yards.

Saints (3): In 2 meetings with a familiar divisions opponent, Panthers got 3 total sacks and surrendered 140 total rushing yards.

Falcons (4): In their embarrassing first meeting, the Falcons gave up 2 sacks and rushed for 77. In handing the Panthers their only loss, they gave up 5 sacks and only rushed for 54 yards.

Packers (7): 5 Sacks and 71 rushing yards against a battered OL.

Redskins (11): 5 Sacks and 14 rushing yards allowed.

Eagles (12): 5 Sacks, but 117 rushing yards allowed.

Colts (15): This OL was infamous for getting Luck killed, but only gave up 2 sacks against the Panthers while rushing for 136 yards.

Texans (18): 1 sack and 61 yards

Jaguars (19): 5 sacks and 96 yards

Giants (T-20): Only team not to surrender a sack. Also racked up 161 rushing yards

Buccaneers (23): First meeting - 2 sacks and 141 rush yards allowed. Second meeting - 5 sacks and 78 rush yards allowed.

Titans (29): 1 sack and 64 rush yards allowed

Seahawks (30): Seahawks gave up 9 sacks over the course of two games, while rushing for 115 yards and 78 yards, respectively.

Odd....seems they dominate the top lines, but play average to below average against mediocre lines.:patrice:

We're ranked the #17 best line, so we might be good:yeshrug:

Also interesting....Cam leads the league in TD's(19 TD's...only 3 ints) thrown against the blitz. We blitz more than anybody.Gotta be on the lookout for that.

The teams that gave them trouble Colts/Falcons are very similar to the Cardinals offensively, but we have a better defense than those squads. The Colts basically run the same offense as the Cards.

I hear the Cards are planning to put 2 safeties on Olsen and play man to man outside.Peterson on Ginn and Bethel on Funchess.....Hopefully Bethel can keep Funchess under control. He seems to do better on big WR's...it's the quick/shifty guys that get him.Man, if we had Tyrann Mathieu, I'd feel a lot more confident about this strategy. We'll see.

I honestly don't know what to say about this game......it's a strangely perfect match up.

I expect a lot of quirky/bizarre shyt to happen.

I think we're way deeper on offense, talent wise, but Carolina is more consistent. When the Cards are on top of their game, I don't think any team can stop them.

We always have problems with physical, gritty teams.Teams that aim to overpower/dominate in the trenches. Those aggressive "old school" "hard hat" type squads.

It's how the Rams and Steelers, minus Big Ben, beat us this year.

They came in with the goal of punking us with over-aggressive physicality.I see that same type of mentality in the Panthers.

I'm shocked to learn they're not a top 5 defense.I thought for sure they were in the top 3.Happy to hear that, but it's going to come down to effort and who wants it more.

We just can't let them bully us in the trenches. We're gonna have to come out that tunnel with major audacity, ready to punk these dudes in their own house.

By the end of the game, I want these Panther fans to be sounding like Snoop in Baby Boy

Man look, the Panthers are more consistent because the benefited from playing a weak ass schedule and play in a weak ass division. :martin:

They tend to get lazy and allowed teams to make a come back. THey canNOT do that against this offense.

The best qb they have faced all year was Brees, and look how Brees lit their ass up. And Palmer has better stats then Brees this year.

You overrate the Panther and shyt on our team, like every time you shyt on Peterson last year every chance you get while I've been trying to defend him like a true fan :mindblown:

We have played tough, physical teams like the Seahawks, 49ers, Bengals, Vikings, GB in the playoffs, and we have DEFEATED those teams when IT counts.

Arians will open his playbook more. He;s been saving some good shyt for the playoffs.

It will be a nailbiter for sure.

Patrick Peterson was shytty the prior 2 seasons. He gave up double digit TD's both years and was ranked like the 67th CB in the league.I'm a tough critic, maybe your'e not, but that's just me...I can only be me.If you find it slightly annoying, you just gone have to get accustomed to it, mayne:francis:

Now I'm the first to admit that Patrick is balling this year.I did acomplete 180.Breh got the diabetes under control and now he's playing like a top 3 CB---arguably the best.He earned my praise this year.

And honestly, I take all this shyt lightly.I'm a Cardinals fan, but I'm not a fanatic.Been a fan since my grandfather took me to an open practice @ Sun Devil stadium back during the Buddy Ryan years.Shook hands with Garrison Hearst, Eric Hill, and Frank Sanders. Was watching when our only way of generating offense revolved around the Fullback screen to Larry Centers and he was getting the same "Larry!" chants that Fitz is getting now.

So yeah, I have an affinity for this team.Do I get fully invested/go blind? Never. In the grand scheme of life, it's not really worth it.I'd throw this shyt away tomorrow if I had to.

But since it's here. I'm going to enjoy it in my own way & clown around with the brehs

About the game, mentally, the books still out on Carson. It's undeniable that he tenses up in pressure situations.

Russell Wilson, Brees, Aaron Rodgers etc....those dudes have proven they have the gumption to take their team all the way.

Everytime the Cardinals have big games, Carson goes a bit brain dead(or a WHOLE LOT brain dead)...Turnovers galore. We're fortunate to have still won most those games this year, but it's a dangerous/worrisome pattern.

We have a QB who doesn't deal with high pressure games very well. That's just the reality of it.I wish it wasn't the case, but I can't unsee what I've seen

Breh Im not doubting your loyalty or fandom to the team.

But I think you are giving the opponents too much credit and the Cards not enough.

As far Palmer, I truly think the monkey is off his back, and will have a munch better game against the Panthers then the Packers. He's no Matt "What the hell Im suppose to do in the playoffs" Ryan. Carson stunk it up at the beginning of the Bengals game, but capped a game winning drive when it counted. He was lighting up the Hawks defense in Seattle, and the game would've been a blowout if it weren't for two sacks that led to touchdowns when Iupati went down.

Plus he's being coach by some of the finest in the game. I think we can pull this off.

Jared Allen is ruled out officially. Panthers are down to 3 DT's

BTW Peterson has been worlds better then the likes of Tom "Hammy" Knight, Renaldo Hill, Michael Stone, Corey Chaveous (who wasnt bad but cerebral), and Mr. Burnt Toast himself: Tito Paul. :scust:

They barley beat a struggling ass GB team. Panthers have all the momentum and talent to blow them out. Not saying it will happen but i expect them to win comfortably. Carson palmer is truly shyt in the playoffs. Carolina isnt gonna have a defensive melt down and leave Fitz wide open with no one in sight like the choking packers defense.
:usure: Ummm GB DID blew out the Redskins IN Washington, and came to AZ playing lights out, and the Cards still managed to beat them. Sam Shields and their OTs coming back made a world of difference. Not to mention all the holding calls NOT called against our D-line. :scust:

I truly hope Carson got that monkey off his back. It's all on him this game. He's going to have to throw 350+ yards in order for the Cards to win IMO.

Tom Knight:mjlol:

I held out hope for a long time with that guy.Just because he was a top 10 pick.I was a young kid in denial. He was my introduction to understanding the term "bust".I think he was heading into his 3rd season when I bumped into Kwame Lassiter at Sky Harbor Airport.I remember saying to Kwame "How's Tom Knight coming along. Is he ready to make that leap?"....he just hit me with a :francis:...."He's not ready yet"

I loved Corey Chavous, tho.He had one of the best games I've ever seen from a rookie DB vs the Cowboys in the playoffs that year ('98 I believe).Him Aeneas shut shyt down that game.Till this day, the best pass coverage I've ever seen from a Cardinals defensive backfield:ohlawd:

Will be a tight game, Panthers have homefield so that is an advantage but I think Cardinals can shut down their passing attack easier than panthers but saying that I thought the Seahawks wouldn't have much trouble with panthers passing attack....NFL brehs :wow: you just never know what you're going to get.

I love how the media is talking so much shyt about Carson performance against the Packers. Yet he finished with 3 touchdowns 350 yards passing and a 92 qbr. Statically he was better than Aaron in every category except the interception. As if Rodgers didn't make some horrible throws to PP on the called back pick 6 and then the pick to Johnson

Carson is going to light up the Pantheres secondary. No doubt in my mind
