No one is defending hitler...

I'm saying that the narrative is used to portray it as an evil vs good type of way when that is not the truth. Its a falsehood. The same white people who wanted to portray themselves as the moral superiors in a "haha our negro athlete sure showed that b*stard hitler" were the ones who were actually treating blacks including their athletes like shyt back at home.

Hitler wasn't even there in the stadium to snub him but to me the more offensive aspect is that FDR didn't even acknowledge him for his achievements when this is supposed to be an american citizen. Not to mention he still had to deal with the racial bullshyt here in the United States. Lets be honest, from black american people's perspective, the American white man was more of a direct threat to their day to day life than some white people killing other white people in Europe.

Anyways I'm getting back to this game

Yep, I believe Jesse Owens even said Hitler did come to the stadium and did speak to him and congratulate him for the win.

When America admonishing Hitler about how he was treating the Jews, he was like "you should be the one to talk, you are not exactly treating black people respectfully".

Bethel would've had a pick 6 if he wasn't scared of that Cam laser heat.
