Learning to survive in a hostile environment roaming with wild animal cacs is not being weak or a c00n.
If you as a father know Black boys get shot on sight by cops but then go buy him a .357 toy replica you must want him to die. Wearing hoodies and sagging isnt the same thing, but hes coming from the trayvon case.
The father already know whites want us dead, he just doesnt want to provoke the situation by not equipping his kids with the right info to preserve their lives.

I understand because my parents try to do the samething. I never thought it was a black thing (teaching you the game). I thought it was because they was old school haitians..strict, conservative, respectful and stern. And refusing to put yourself in obvious harms way is to some people on here c00ning and pandering to whites.
To me its just about being aware of your territory. If I come to your town for a visit, and you point out the no-go areas where out of towners get robbed and blasted every night but I somehow think I am immune to that then you cant be held responsible if I choose to go there.
If wearing Blue or Red is hazardous to ones health in some areas and youve been warned, but choose to say fukk it I have the right to wear red in a crip area then what rights are you fighting for other than to die?
I understand not wanting to conform to the will and expectations of these ridiculous whites, I get that but doesnt mean we mustnt know our surroundings.

Clearly some of you never had the experience of having a father around. That's his job, to make you do things you'd rather not do for your own safety and well being. This is no different to Black parents who refuse their children to play with toy guns, or instruct them on how to properly deal with police.

So true but at the same time you don't want to hinder a childs individual character. Black kids should be free to dress and be the people they want to be.

This is truely a catch 22.

Become invisible, essentially, a non-entity that white people won't be worried about when you come near them.
